We invested 40 million dollars in Gumi, a high-tech industrial complex,
to establish the world's largest velvet factory with batch production facilities ranging from twisted yarn to weaving, dyeing, and processing.
In 1995, <Factory 1> specialized in dyeing and processing <Factory 2> specialized
in twisting and weaving were completed on a 37000 square meter site in Gumi Industrial Complex 3, and 132 rapier looms were newly introduced.
We have secured the world's largest production capacity, producing 8 million yards per year on peer looms.
In addition, in 1998, CPB dyeing machine, which can produce 500 to 5000 yards per 1 lot of velvet with uniform color and quality, was introduced and improved the dyeing process, which
served as a driving force for pioneering the Japanese and European markets where quality regulations are strict.
